Hurricane Update: There are still several hundred thousand people with flooded or damaged homes who need assistance.

As people are able to return to their homes, there is an abundant need of cleaning supplies and plastic totes for storing items. If you want to help the people of Texas or Florida during this time of stress, there are several agencies working to provide aid. We at Volunteers of America are receiving monetary donations.

We will continue receiving and transporting donated items through September 20 and will provide an update if that is extended. Thank you for your support.

When you support Volunteers of America Southeast, you help transform the lives of people in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Since Volunteers of America came to the Southeast in 1980, we’ve grown to serve people with developmental disabilities, veterans, people with substance abuse, people with mental illness, at-risk youth, and low income seniors. We strive to help people live independently in the community without jeopardizing their safety.

Your gift will provide such basic human necessities as shelter and food and such life-renewing assistance as rehabilitation and counseling. Your generosity will be more than a hand out or a quick fix. Instead, you will be supporting programs and services that encourage positive development, foster independence and promote the type of self-sufficiency that can change someone's life. When you support Volunteers of America Southeast, you make a difference in your community.

Volunteers of America Southeast, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Of every dollar spent by Volunteers of America Southeast, over 90 cents is used to fund programs outreach services for people in need. We welcome donations of money, vehicles, property, supplies, or even your time.
